Banking Is Personal Again
A bank was planted on every corner. New branches popped out of the ground with alarming frequency. BankTennessee, a small community bank, had its fans, but it just needed more. Stymied by a confusing name and too similar to others in its market, the bank needed new branding like a cow after liposuction. And it needed it on a tight budget.
With the approval of the campaign proposal by the CEO and board of directors, it got exciting. An agency was selected and reviewed the vision with the agency's creative director. The objective was to build on our personal banking reputation by spotlighting recognizable local faces.
We placed ads in local publications and billboards as well as utilizing lobby signage and our website. Results of the campaign have been good. Longtime customers have called to compliment their favorite employees on the pictures. This opened dialogue about bank products and services that were previously unfamiliar to the customer. New customers have noticed the personal style of the campaign and have come into the bank's branches out of curiosity. The campaign laid the foundation and style for our future marketing.
